Our client is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join their team in a direct hire position. The candidate can be in Kansas City, MO or Raleigh, NC.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Software Applications
• Development and Maintenance of IPSEC VPN software code base
• Analysis and Maintenance of performance-critical code
• Networking-related software development and maintenance
• Protocol development and maintenance
2. Additional Duties
• Definition of feature requirements
• Working with customers and product management to deliver solutions to real world customers
• Effort estimates
• Mentoring of junior engineers
